Interstellar Explosions in star's
When star dies and explode itself it's called a interstellar explosion in star. There different types of explosion in star's.

supernova
A star is mainly made from hydrogen and helium. Strong Gravity and High temperature of star starts a reaction called Nuclear fusion it reduce lotsof energy and lots of radiation. A star is balance itself Because same radiation and gravitational force are cancel the effect of it. In Nuclear fusion two Hydrogen atoms fuse into one helium atom, two helium atoms fuse into carbon, two carbon atoms fuse into Oxygen, two Oxygen atoms fuse into Neon, Two Neon fuse in to Sulfur, and last two sulfur atoms fuse in iron. Iron can not fuse itself into another heavier elements because star's gravitational force becomes much more than it's radiation. Therefore star collapse itself and throw all it mass with lots of energy. If the star is massive like sun it becomes white dwarf star or If the star is heavier than sun it's core becomes a blackhole or Neutron star.
What is the meaning of supernova ? Who discover 1st supernova ?
Year 185 AD Chinese astronomer name was sn185 between sursines santorus 9100 ly away rcw86 was reminent of it this record was found in ancient Chinese history hon-han-shu, hon han shu means the book of the later han in this book this supernova called a guest star because it suddenly appeared in sky it is visible in sky for 8 months and slowly disappeared. That time ancient astronomers think it was birth of a new start (Nova means new) but now we know that it is not birth of star but it is death of a star.
Hypernova
A Hypernova or a Super-luminous SuperNova(SLSN) is almost like a supernova but it is 10 times more powerful than supernova. It is so powerful that it emits very strong radiation beam called Gamma Ray Bursts (GRB) from it poles for short time but it can damage Earth's atmosphere in only 20 seconds. But Hypernova is very rare.
